It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden (to be renamed North Melbourne), Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop.

We currently have an opportunity for an experience Ventilation Engineer to assist in developing, reviewing and maintaining the hygiene management plan for this iconic Melbourne project.

    • atmspheric contaminants are as low as can be reasonably achieved.
    • determine and recrd the quantity and quality of ventilating air in the underground section using approved procedures, instruments and equipment.
    • recrd primary fan/scrubber pressure and volume.
    • update mine ventilatin plans, which need to be immediately available to emergency response teams.

  • Support the design team in the establishment of the designs for the shed’s, noise continuation and fan/scrubber layouts.
  • Report promptly to the Manager/Supervisor any defect or deficiency in the ventilation at the underground section or any atmospheric contaminant level in a workplace that exceeds the exposure standard.
  • Maintain an up to date VentSim model of the active underground section.
