About the Project - Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3:

 

John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.

 

John Holland is actively recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this iconic project. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Content, Communications & Marketing Support

 

  • Conduct monthly reviews of the project website and coordinate required updates.
  • Consolidate and report on weekly dashboard metrics.
  • Develop social media content and creative assets.
  • Draft and design monthly project newsletters.
  • Coordinate monthly photography, including scheduling, creating briefs, liaising with site teams and stakeholders, attending shoots, managing approvals, and uploading images to client platforms.
  • Deliver business photography activities, including scheduling, onsite coordination, and distribution of approved images to participating businesses.
  • Provide creative support using Canva, including the production of vouchers, newsletters, and social media tiles.
  • Support the development of weekly internal communications content, including TV screen updates, TramScript design, and Viva Engage posts.
  • Assist with the creation, editing, and distribution of business eNews via Stripo.

 

Stakeholder & Community Engagement Support

 

  • Support the Love Your Local program, including coordination of live crosses, radio vouchers, and monthly reporting updates.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of Family Day, internal events, and community activities.
  • Coordinate opening event logistics and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide support to Burleigh business stakeholders, including weekly voucher drops, business communications, voucher creation, printing, distribution, collection, reconciliation, PO creation, and reporting.
  • Support six‑monthly stakeholder survey administration.
  • Assist with Science Tram, Testing & Commissioning, ISC, and sustainability initiative activities.

 

Administrative & Operational Support

 

  • Raise purchase orders and complete monthly credit card reconciliations.
  • Manage external content requests and track monthly updates for Track Tracker and utility figures.
  • Maintain Asite documentation, including creating document numbers and letters, performing up-revs, and coordinating with Document Control to distribute plans, collateral, and approval documents.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support as required.
