We are currently looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join us, initially on a 6-month contract.

About the Role

Whilst you will be initially based on the North Western Program Alliance on a 6-month contract, there is potential for extension or permanency.


We are seeking a highly driven, confident, and creative visual designer to join our Publications Team. Working closely with the Brand & Creative Lead and development teams, the position is responsible for producing tender submission material and supporting the wider Alliance in maintaining and improving its visual identity.

Responsibilities of the role include;

•    Provide visualisation support for the development teams at NWPA to communicate their design solutions
•    Translate technical information into clear and accurate creative representations, including but not limited to rendered precinct plans, landscape and architectural design drawings, surveys, construction staging, and CAD Drawings
•    Take a solution orientated approach to design work
•    Have confidence and agility to work to fast and unpredictable deadlines
•    Prepare comprehensive design material for inclusion in submissions, presentations, and reports
•    Development and production of locality maps, brand collateral, emails via Campaign Monitor, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents, and templates 
•    Project manage a brief and work to timelines
•    Provide technical advice as required regarding the aesthetics and practicality of graphics
•    Maintain and uphold brand guidelines and design standards
•    Collaborating and supporting the Brand & Creative Lead in the creation of digital assets, templates, and guidelines
•    Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will have;

•    Higher School Certificate
•    Degree, qualification or certificate in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Production, Marketing, Communications or related areas  
•    More than 5 years’ industry experience
•    Solution orientated and strategic thinker
•    Multifaceted / Adaptive Learner
•    Advanced skills across Adobe Creative Suites including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Campaign Monitor
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
•    You need to be able to meet any requirements which are necessary to safely perform your role (e.g. receiving a COVID-19 vaccination pursuant to a relevant health order or by clients, or as otherwise required)
