About the Project


Spanning more than 1,700km, the Australian Government is delivering Inland Rail through the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), in partnership with the private sector.


The Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) section is one of 13 projects that complete Inland Rail and is an upgrade of approximately 188 km of track within the existing rail corridor and construction of approximately 1.6 km of new rail track. The works are required to accommodate the operation of future planned 1,800 m double-stacked freight trains.


The contract for the delivery of Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) was awarded to Trans4m Rail in October 2020.  Trans4m Rail combines the experience of John Holland and SEE Civil. 


About the roles


Trans4m Rail are now actively looking to employ Leading Hands and Form Workers, Steel Fixers and Concreters in our stuctures team starting on site April 2021.  We are looking to employ Local people from the Moree region and also offer a 14/7 (FIFO) roster from Brisbane and Sydney!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working under the direction of the site supervisor or superintendent
  • 400+ Culverts
  • Site establishment
  • Participate in the demoliton, construction and earthworks of drainage and culverts
  • Unloading and erecting pre-cast 
  • Rigging, Dogging and Spotting as required
  • Constructing/stripping Formwork, Steel Fixing and Concreting 
  • Undertake all works in accordance with site and company HSE policies and procedures.


Skills, Qualifications & Experience required:



  • White card
  • Drivers Licence
  • Trade Certificates or Demonstrated experience
  • Birth Certificate / Valid Passport
  • 2 references to verify your experience and competency 



  • Mobile plant operator tickets
  • HR Truck Licence
  • LF - Forklift Licence
  • Rigging and Dogging Licences
  • Rail Safe working experience and qualifications
  • RIW Card
