About the Project

 

Spanning more than 1,700km, the Australian Government is delivering Inland Rail through the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), in partnership with the private sector.

 

The Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) section is one of 13 projects that complete Inland Rail and is an upgrade of approximately 188 km of track within the existing rail corridor and construction of approximately 1.6 km of new rail track. The works are required to accommodate the operation of future planned 1,800 m double-stacked freight trains.

 

The contract for the delivery of Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) was awarded to Trans4m Rail in October 2020.  Trans4m Rail combines the experience of John Holland and SEE Civil. 

 

About the role

 

Trans4M Rail and our Subcontractors are busy working together to execute our schedule of works for 2021 and we are looking to employee workers in and around the Moree, Narrabri and North Star Regions.  We are looking for the following skill sets and experience to work on the project;

 

 

Key Skills/Tickets and Experience;

  • MR/HR or Multi Combination licence with experience driving.  Roles - Driving Crew Trucks, Water Carts and Side Tippers
  • Rollers - Sheeps/Padfoot, Smooth Drum, Pneumatic wheeled (Must Labour)
  • Articulated Moxy
  • Excavators - predominately "Next Generation Trimble GPS" experience
  • Skid Steers and Front End Loaders
  • Pipelayers - predominately laying concrete pipes (Roads,Level Crossings)
  • Steelfixers / Concreters / Formworkers and Trade Assistants

 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience required:

 

Mandatory:

  • White card
  • Drivers Licence + Relevant licence to drive trucks
  • Relevant Mobile Plant Tickets
  • RIW Card - Willing to obtain
  • Ability to pass a full functional medical and Laboratory Drug and Alcohol
