People & Social Performance Administrator

About the Project

 

Spanning more than 1,700km, the Australian Government is delivering Inland Rail through the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), in partnership with the private sector.

The Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) section is one of 13 projects that complete Inland Rail and is an upgrade of approximately 188 km of track within the existing rail corridor and construction of approximately 1.6 km of new rail track. The works are required to accommodate the operation of future planned 1,800 m double-stacked freight trains.

 

The contract for the delivery of Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) was awarded to Trans4m Rail in October 2020.  Trans4m Rail combines the experience of John Holland and SEE Civil. 

 

Trans4M Rail has commenced mobilisation and currently has an opportunity for a locally based People & Social Performance Administrator, ideally from within the local Moree or surrounding communities, who’ll play a key role within the People & Social Performance Team on this iconic Inland Rail Project.

About the role

 

Reporting to the Senior People and Social Performance Advisor, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Provide general administrative support to the Project People and Social Performance team
  • Complete end to end people administration processes and documentation including new starters, transfers, and terminations
  • Compose and collate daily, weekly and monthly reports relating to the Project people and social performance function
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Project People procedural requirements and assist with general queries from the broader project team and external parties
  • Ensure that People related data, information and documentation is uploaded and/or recorded in a timely manner to ensure the continual accuracy of records
  • Assist with the management of project mobilisation, demobilisation and redeployment processes at project conclusion 
About you

 

The successful candidate will possess:

 

  • Ideally 2 years’ experience in an administration role within the construction industry (site based experience strongly preferred) or at least 3 years’ experience in a high volume administration role
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills
  • Development of efficient data administration processes and procedures
  • High School Certificate or equivalent experience in administration or Certificate II, III, IV in Business Administration
