John Holland is proud to be a key delivery partner on the Cross Yarra Partnership (CYP), responsible for the Operations & Maintenance of the transformative Metro Tunnel Project.

About the role
The Maintenance Co-ordinator supervises maintenance activities and oversees the administration of the maintenance program of works. The role coordinates with a team of maintenance co-ordinators, discipline managers and subcontractors, ensuring maintenance activities are completed as scheduled.
The project is currently progressing through Mobilisation Phase activities which will transition into the 24-year Maintenance Phase.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a team of service providers to provide maintenance coverage 24/7, 365 days per year through efficient rostering.
- Working with the maintenance team to plan and schedule maintenance tasks, including preventative and reactive maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Managing work orders, communicating with stakeholders and internal teams, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance related repairs.
- Coordinating with external contractors across a range of trade disciplines.
- Communicating with other various stakeholders, clients, and maintenance staff to ensure effective coordination.
- Manage training in the use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives, key stakeholders, subcontractors, Maintenance teams and subcontractors.
- Participate in shift handover sessions with other Services Coordinators and Maintenance Team members.
- Monitor contractor training, induction and qualification compliance.
- Ensure a detailed understanding of the service level requirements and escalation process.
To be successful in this role you must have
- The role is dependent on attaining the appropriate medical (which will be part of the recruitment process)
- Experience within a maintenance or facility management environment
- Team supervision / management experience
Maintenance Administration, Coordinator, Planning experience - Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Project Management tools and Microsoft office suite
- Sound knowledge of OHS&E regulations, Codes of Practice, AS3000:2000, and safe working practices.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and participate in an on-call roster.
- Experience within the rail industry or a similar safety-critical environment
