About the Alliance
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
We are excited to have the opportunity to work with the Australian and South Australian governments to deliver this city shaping project that will provide safe and efficient journeys for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists, connect open spaces and recreational facilities, and unlock economic opportunities and growth for South Australia.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

About the Role;
As Cost Controller on the T2D Alliance, your key responsibility will be to drive the Forecasting, Budgeting and Earned-Value processes on your respective area of the project.
Working in close collaboration with the delivery team, you will provide key performance indicators to drive decision-making as well as ensure the robustness of the financial and non-financial data used to this end.
What you will do;
- Building a strong business partnership with the delivery team: You will establish open lines of communication and trust with the precinct lead(s), fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ensuring transparency and accountability: You will challenge and scrutinize key forecast assumptions related to productivity, program, rates, and other factors to ensure accurate and reliable forecasting.
- Acting as a key point of reference for budgets and forecasts: You will actively engage with various internal and external stakeholders, becoming the go-to person for all matters related to budgeting and forecasting.
- Providing transparent, accurate, and timely reporting: You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive reports, including cost-to-date, forecasts, and earned value, ensuring that stakeholders have a clear understanding of the project's financial status.
- Leading monthly precinct reporting: You will take charge of preparing and presenting monthly reports for your designated area, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Driving successful financial outcomes: Your role is to provide the delivery team with reliable and relevant information, enabling them to make informed decisions that minimize costs and maximize opportunities.
- Supporting the development of direct reports and junior employees: You will play a crucial role in nurturing talent and driving operational excellence, helping your team members progress in their careers
What we are looking for;
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Commerce or similar
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience working in major projects in construction or similar industries.
- Understanding of key concepts: budget, forecast, earned-value.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
