The Project

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

 

The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

The role

We are looking for a recent Safety Graduate to join our team, the successful candidate will be looking to begin their career in safety. You will establish procedures and implement and monitor programs to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all personnel. Whilst assisting the Safety Team in developing Health and Safety strategies and training for the desired workplace.

 

  • Provide support, coordination and advice of Health Safety practices, systems, and procedures within a defined workplace.
  • Maintain records of all Health and Safety requirements at the workplace, in accordance with legislative company requirements and provide statistical summaries of these records
  • Initiate and coordinate accredited training programs for occupational health and safety committee members and first aid officers
  • Identify hazards and event prevention programs
  • Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections

About you

  • Must be based in Adelaide or willing to relocate at your own expense.
  • Completed a bachelor’s degree in OHS, Environmental Science, or similar. Tafe qualifications will also be considered
  • Have the willingness to learn and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Passionate about the HSES space.
  • Both a team player and can work independently to deliver tasks on time.
  • Excellent computer skills
