The Role:
The Survey Engineer role will be based in Adelaide, and will provide input into the administration, collection, measurement, analysis, interpretation, portrayal and dissemination of spatially related information, with associate design and management.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the survey control network for site construction works
- Schedule, prioritise and undertake daily surveying tasks
- Provide technical and administrative assistance to the project team as required
- Carry out quality assurance surveys and produce reports/plans and documents as required
- Take an active role in the daily running of the Survey Office (e.g. Equipment maintenance, weekly reports etc.)
- Collaborating closely with construction & engineering teams to provide precise setout surveys and support construction activities
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols during survey operations.
- Maintaining meticulous records and documentation of survey findings, analyses, and progress reports.
About You:
- Recognised tertiary qualification: Diploma in Engineering Surveying or equivalent formal qualification
- 5 years’ experience in surveying on infrastructure /large scale project
- Advanced knowledge & skilled in CAD /surveying software packages
- BIM / 3D Scanning experience
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
