About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our project team based in Drury. This role will provide effective, efficient, and professional administrative services to enable the smooth running of the project and assist with project cost control administration through to month-end process.

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Ensuring expenses, invoices and timesheets are processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate general ledger accounts and actioning outstanding balances.
  • Assisting in the creation of preparation of correspondence, documents, reports, presentations and/or publications.
  • Providing guidance and training to staff on finance and administration processes and procedures.
  • Addressing and responding to internal and external finance enquiries and following up on any outstanding items with the responsible personnel while ensuring all records are filed and archived.

To be successful in this key role, you must have;

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Microsoft Office experience (Intermediate level in MS Excel and BI Tools & Reporting).
  • Experience with ERP Systems.
  • Previous experience within construction, transport or related industries would be desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Administration and document management practices
  • Proven time management, planning, and organisation skills
