About the Role

This role will be responsible for supporting the technical infrastructure, daily end user ICT support, maintenance, and administration of IT Systems for JHG. You will conduct this in a professional and competent manner such that it can provide a high level of service to the Group.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supports all John Holland hardware and software with a focus on connectivity and support. You will assist users in the diagnoses and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and follow up and advise users on the progress of outstanding support requests logged into the help request database and verbal requests,
  • Work with the team to provide support coverage between the hours of 8am and 6pm weekdays, including lunch time
  • Share knowledge of the technical environment with the ICT Technical Team to enable sufficient support to be provided to the Project
  • Assist with mobilisation and decommission of project offices in the region
  • Provide help desk support for the environment in a professional competent manner that will ensure a high level of service
  • Troubleshoot problems, issues / faults and liaise with providers to resolve them

This role will be based at our project offices in Drury and will work collaboratively alongside our Joint Venture Partners.

To be successful in this key role, you will have:

  • ICT / Computing qualifications and/or relevant work experience within the industry
  • Strong communication skills and relationship building.
  • Certificate or Relevant Tertiary Education in ICT / Computing
  • Experience in desktop support (3+ years)
