About the Program:
We are looking for an experienced Quality & Completions Coordinator / Project Engineer - Quality to join the Urban Utilities Regional Treatment Plants (RTP) Program team.
John Holland with design partner GHD will deliver the RTP scope which involves a program of upgrades and renewal works to treatment plants, pipelines & pump stations in Ipswich, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, & the Scenic Rim.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in preparing safe and effective cut in plans methodologies risk assessments commissioning plans schedules and reports to minimise plant disruption
- Support the preparation and delivery of handover and completion documentation in line with contractual and project requirements
- Provide support to project teams vendors subcontractors and designers to enable safe efficient and compliant precommissioning and commissioning activities
- Assist in developing and managing hold witness points training punchlists and tracking the closeout of issues and defects
- Ensure timely and onbudget delivery of activities recording completed work costs materials used and maintaining progress documentation
- Assist with supplier and subcontractor reviews to ensure accuracy compliance and adherence to standards and agreements
- Liaise with consultants subcontractors suppliers and planning authorities to ensure satisfactory project completion and documentation requirements are met
- Plan future project requirements with teams including plant labour and preparatory works prior to commissioning
- Demonstrate leadership in health safety environmental risk management compliance and auditing
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated quality / completions / commissioning experience
- 3-5+ years' postgraduate experience, ideally gained in a principal contractor setting
- Demonstrated personal commitment to health, safety and environment
- Leadership skills in risk management, compliance and auditing
- Tertiary engineering background advantageous
- Water industry experience advantageous
