About the Role

Develop, recommend and implement a quality assurance programme to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements on the project.

What you will do;

• ­Implement the organisational Quality Management System on the project to ensure quality objectives and targets are met
• Ensure that the project conforms with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements
• ­Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery
• ­Provide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business improvement
• ­Ensure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality
• ­Provide technical quality expertise for the project
• Ensure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to quality
• ­Handle client expectations and communicate effectively with the project team ­
• Select and develop staff within the section to ensure their quality assurance competences ­
• Provide leadership and mentoring to quality staff ­
• Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes and demonstrate leadership in the communication of requirements ­
• Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedure

What we are looking for;

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a quality management role ­
• Quality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industries
• Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems ­
• Project management experience
• Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
