About the Role:

John Holland and Seymour Whyte have been engaged to deliver the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Rail Upgrade Stage 1 project The project is set to increase the capacity and reliability of the North Coast Line, enabling more efficient travel and improved passenger and freight connections between the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Brisbane and beyond.

We are currently looking to speak to experience Quality Manager candidates to join the team and you’ll be accountable to develop, recommend and implement a quality assurance programme to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements on the assigned project.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Implement the organisational Quality Management System on the project to ensure quality objectives and targets are met
  • Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery
  • Provide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business
  • Ensure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality
  • Handle client expectations and communicate effectively with the project team
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to quality staff
  • Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes and demonstrate leadership in the communication of requirements
