John Holland has recently been announced as the partner to deliver the Inland Rail, Illabo to Stockinbingal (I2S) works in NSW and we are seeking people interested in being part of the team that will deliver this critical project.
About Inland Rail
Inland Rail is transforming how goods are moved around Australia, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. This 1,700km fast freight backbone will complete our national freight network – better connecting producers to markets and creating new opportunities for regional businesses, industries and communities.
The Illabo to Stockinbingal project is about 39km of new rail corridor located within the local government areas of Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai. This new section of rail corridor will provide a direct route from east of Illabo, tracking north to Stockinbingal and connecting into the existing Forbes rail line.
What is needed?
We are currently seeking an experienced Community and Stakeholder Coordinator for this regional NSW based project. The role is Monday to Friday and will be based on site.
Responsibilities include:
- Produce a wide range of communications materials tailored to meet a variety of audiences, including community newsletters, internal newsletter, media releases, fact sheets and community works notifications.
- Develop a range of project specific forums for stakeholders and the community including site visits, community information sessions and internal events as required
- Coordinate responses to all project related communications matters including via phone, email, website and social media in line with agreed client framework
- Develop good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and the broader community
- Assist with managing and responding to stakeholder and community complaints and enquiries within required timeframes along with completing associated reports as required
- Ensure project related communications material is distributed to relevant stakeholders and available for the community in a timely manner.
About you:
- Already be located or be willing to relocate yourself within an hour’s commute of Cootamundra/Stockinbingal.
- Experience on complex Rail/Infrastructure projects
