John Holland manages the innovative Country Regional Network (CRN) which makes us the first accredited private rail transport operator of a government owned heavy rail network in NSW, and one of only three accredited managers of public rail infrastructure in the State. The scope involves the operation, management and upgrade of country railway lines across NSW including 2,700km of operational freight and passenger lines, and 3,100km of non-operational lines.

We currently have an opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail to take on the position of Network Rules Coordinator. Based in our Mayfield office, you will be responsible for the document coordination, development, amendment and publication for all Network Rules.   
Responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to);

  • Maintain CRN Safeworking Rules and Procedures, including issuing of amendments and Safe Notices in accordance with Network Standards
  • Distribute Safeworking documentation to all Safeworking staff
  • Responsible for ensuring the network rules are updated on the CRN website
  • Assist with the maintenance  of the Rail Safeworking Rules and Procedures and distribute internally, to RTO’s, and other agencies as necessary
  • Ensure current versions are maintained within the CRN IMS of all documents subject to revision and ensure current versions of documents are issued to required parties, in accordance with John Holland IMS policy and procedure.

To be successful in this role you must have;

  • Previous experience in an administration support role 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Suite and Adobe
  • Experience working in the rail industry is desirable
