About the Role

The Senior Contracts Administrator on the Logan Hospital Expansion Project Stage 2 will plan and manage the end-to-end commercial management of large subcontracts and self-performed works. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and direct reports to deliver project commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities of the role include

• Assess and escalate commercial and contractual risks to the Commercial Manager while identifying and implementing appropriate controls
• Provide leadership to the commercial team
• Assist with Head Contract Administration where required
• Participate in scope of works planning and preparation of procurement strategies
• Assist with dispute resolution processes while maintaining good working relationships with subcontractors

What we are looking for;

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce of equivalent
• Significant demonstrated experience in a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor role in the Building Construction industry
• Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations management, completion and close out
• Strong commercial acumen and awareness in areas of cost management and contract law
