We are currently looking for an experienced Training Coordinator to join our Queensland Building business and will cover our Southern Queensland Correctional Precinct (Gatton) and the Logan Hospital Expansion projects.


Primary purpose of this position:


  • Operating in a National Team provide specific Social Inclusion, Diversity and Training support to projects across QLD and NT
  • Creation and implementation of Training and Workforce Development programs including the monitoring of compliance with and evaluation of
  • Develop and Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with QLD Training Policy including Apprentices (QGBCT), Trainees and disadvantaged or minority groups
  • Manage the onboarding and sign up of trainees and apprentices with Australian Apprenticeship Centres
  • Provide data and progress reports related to Training activities
  • Provide projects with support and advice to leverage existing partnerships and strategies to ensure inclusive and diverse employment, procurement, and training compliance
  • Assist with Training and Development plans at EOI, Tender and Project Award stage
  • Provide advice at Project launch to maximise early engagement and procurement including strategies to meet Training commitments ensuring real outcomes
