Title:  Business Solution Implementation Lead

About the Role

We're establishing a new capability within the Chief Operations Office to drive strategic business initiatives from concept through to operational implementation. Sitting at the intersection of construction delivery, operational performance and technology, this role will work closely with operational stakeholders, project teams and IT to design and implement fit-for-purpose solutions that improve how we deliver projects.

As the Business Solution Implementation Lead, you'll help translate business requirements into practical solutions that drive consistency, efficiency and operational performance across John Holland. This is a unique opportunity to build something new while shaping the systems, processes and ways of working that support our projects and business.

The location of this role is flexible and can be based in either our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne offices.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to simplify and optimise processes, delivering practical solutions that support operational performance
• Collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts and technology teams to design and implement fit-for-purpose business & project solutions
• Define and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data and security standards
• Serve as the lead for project solution implementation & onboarding, coordinating stakeholders across business SME’s and IT to ensure frictionless deployment
• Support system improvement initiatives, enhancement requests and solution roadmaps
• Partner with operational and project teams to embed consistent processes, systems and ways of working across the business and within our projects

What we are looking for

• Experience implementing operational and technology solutions within construction, engineering or infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of construction project delivery, business processes and technology-enabled business improvement within a Tier 1 contractor environment
• Experience delivering transformative solutions that streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and deliver measurable cost and efficiency gains
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into practical solutions and leading implementation in complex environments
• Ability to engage effectively with operational, functional, and technology stakeholders to achieve business outcomes
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or Lean certification will be highly regarded
