About the Opportunity:
A Joint Venture between John Holland and KBR is delivering innovative and high-quality assets and upgrades with Melbourne Water to ensure communities across Melbourne continue to enjoy high quality water supply and seamless sewage removal and treatment.
The JHG-KBR JV have delivered a wide range of important infrastructure projects for the region including, water and sewer pipeline renewals, treatment plant upgrades, civil and road works and reservoir improvements.
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our Melbourne Water Framework to support multiple capital works projects based in Canterbury, VIC.
• Setup & establishment of projects within the framework
• Forecasting & client reporting
• Commissioning & process improving support
• Client interface to assist with integration into the wider network
• Procurement & subcontract evaluation support
• Support upcoming tenders with project proposal support and establishment of proving criteria possible for a successful delivery
• Support client with M&E integration of future & past works where the JV might be able to assist the client with proposed scopes.
• Project reporting on live projects within the framework falling within the remit of this role (including forecasts, project specific HSEQ items, Earned Value, Schedule etc)
• Monthly Framework reporting for the delivery aspect of the projects
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in complex infrastructure, including water/wastewater plants, pump stations etc
- Strong technical leadership and ability to drive teams according to construction programs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to integrate with broader projects team to achieve program completion
