Are you up for the challenge?
We’re looking for a curious and creative digital storyteller with strong technical skills to join our Corporate Affairs team as our Digital & Social Media Specialist. This role blends creativity with strategic thinking to craft engaging content across internal and external digital platforms. You’ll bring to life the stories that celebrate our people and projects, while showcasing our strengths, capabilities, and culture.
From drafting copy and editing videos to designing graphics, capturing photos, and using analytics to inform strategy and optimise performance, this role spans the full content lifecycle. It involves close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and support work winning, as well as contributing to an integrated content calendar and supporting internal communications initiatives. Daily publishing across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, website and internal platforms is a key focus, with an emphasis on quality, creativity and engagement.
What you will do;
- Create and publish engaging content across digital and social channels, including copywriting, photography, graphic design, and video production.
- Deliver campaigns that position John Holland’s capabilities, culture, and strategic priorities to key audiences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative agencies to deliver content that supports brand consistency, work winning, and business priorities.
- Contribute to an integrated content calendar and deliver content for both internal and external platforms, including social media, website, brochures, and presentations.
- Apply data, analytics, and best practices to optimise content performance and measure campaign effectiveness.
What we are looking for;
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related discipline
- Proven experience in social media content creation and publishing
- Confident and strong communication
- Skilled in graphic design and video production/editing
- Strong copywriting abilities tailored for digital/social platforms
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting
- Proficiency in Digital Marketing
