About the Role:
We are seeking EOI’s from experienced and commercially driven Managers to oversee an end to end maintenance program for a major rail infrastructure project across Melbourne.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead operational excellence and client satisfaction in a fast paced and rewarding role. Our Manager roles are available in the following disciplines:
- Hydraulics
- Mechanical
- Building management systems
- Cleaning Services
- Help Desk
- General Maintenance
- Electrical and Mechanical
Responsibilities of the role include:
As a Manager in our dedicated Maintenance and Operations team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Managing maintenance programs / disciplines including scheduling, resource allocation and workflow optimisation
- Leading a high-performing subcontractor team to deliver efficient, quality driven maintenance services, working various shifts
- Managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance and service excellence
- Building strong client relationships and enhancing client satisfaction and retention
- Overseeing site inspections, ensuring adherence to safety standards and compliance
- Preparing detailed reports on performance, compliance, and project outcomes
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
- Proven experience in operational leadership, subcontractor management and budgeting
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract claim negotiation and cost control
- In-depth knowledge of building maintenance practices, and industry regulations
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Project Management tools and Microsoft office suite
- Sound knowledge of OHS&E regulations, Codes of Practice, AS3000:2000, and safe working practices.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and participate in an on-call roster.
- Experience within the rail industry or a similar safety-critical environment.
- A trade qualification in relevant discipline and demonstrated experience of operational experience
