About You and the Role

The Employee Relations Transactions (ERT) team manages and processes the administration and electronic documentation of all employee related movements, transfers, contracts, allowances, visa’s, relocations and system records. This a great opportunity to kickstart your career in HR and build a strong foundation in understanding the processes that underpin ER, HR and mobility.

You will be an energetic people person with an unflappable nature, exceptional administrative skills, the ability manage competing priorities and get things done, as well as confidence in working directly with stakeholders at all levels and managing expectations accordingly. You will be confident and articulate, have the utmost respect for confidentiality and sensitive information, thrive under pressure, like getting your hands dirty and be a natural problem solver. Ideally you will have experience with SAP SuccessFactors and a background in HR Administration or Coordination.

This a 12-month contract opportunity that can be based at either our landmark new office on Flinders Street in Melbourne, or in our Pyrmont office in Sydney.

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Delivering efficient, consistent and quality ER administration support including prompt and accurate actioning of employee movement forms, generation of employee letters, organising relocation in accordance with the procedural requirements.
  • Upload/Check documents for all new employees that are received from Resourcing such as Criminal Record checks, References, Medicals, Licenses, Tickets, Qualifications and Right to Work documents into online archive system.
  • Recording new employee’s information such as medical, vaccination and qualifications in SuccessFactors.
  • Providing advice, support and guidance to the business in relation to the systems and processes that underpin the performance and governance of the function.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate;

  • Substantial experience in high volume HR administration/coordination within the construction/engineering industry
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and prioritisation
  • Experience using SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS software
