About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced leader, who has helped develop, implement, and maintain social procurement and inclusion strategies, processes and programs in a corporate environment. This role will be pivotal in enabling the sustainable employment of identified disadvantaged jobseekers and promoting a diverse workforce whilst contributing to industry social, economic, and cultural growth. Responsibilities will include:


  • Determining the social inclusion objectives by understanding state and government requirements
  • Aligning workforce development and social procurement management plans at the project level
  • Managing social procurement reporting requirements including monitoring, reviewing and reporting on progress towards social procurement targets and key performance indicators across the business


About You:


This is a “start-up” role; and we believe to be successful, you will be aware of or have a working knowledge of the Victorian SPF, with a strong network in the existing knowledge base, with an in-depth understanding of current practices and how they will impact the construction industry. A working knowledge of national and state regulatory frameworks is essential, and we expect you to be able to demonstrate how this impacts contractual and commercial outcomes.


In addition, we expect you will be educated to degree level or higher and have similar experience in a social enterprise function. You will need to influence across busines units and functions and therefore need to have superior communication skills.
