About North Western Program Alliance

 

North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of three Alliance Partners - John Holland, KBR, MTM, V/Line and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals. 

 

Since 2017, NWPA had had a proven track record with the successful delivery of eight level crossing removals (17 LX) and several premium stations, with three projects currently in delivery and two in development phase.

We are looking for an Industry Capability & Inclusion Analyst to join us. 

 

Responsibilities of the role include / What you will do

 

HSEQ

 

Demonstrate a personal commitment to the HSEQ foundations and culture of NWPA    

 

REPORTING AND ANALYSIS

 

Establish and maintain documentation and spreadsheets containing data relevant to key initiatives and key performance indicators.
­Ensure data complies with Victorian Government policy requirements as part of the Local Jobs First Policy (LJF) and Social Procurement Framework (SPF). 
­Confidently use the appropriate digital tools and systems to complete complex data analysis.Review monthly workforce and social spend data to ensure compliance with policy requirements (Social Procurement Expenditure, Aboriginal Engagement Targets and Major Projects Skills Guarantee - Apprentices, Trainees and Cadets) reviewing data for accuracy and integrity.
­Undertake automated and manual data collection, cleaning and analysis and provide recommendations to commercial teams
­Create and maintain visual, meaningful and user-friendly dashboards for presentation to all levels of NWPA
­Identify trends and analysis in the data and draft reports and recommendations so insights can be drawn to reliably inform strategic decision making. 
Strong organisational skills to perform financial audit preparations and meet high documentation standards in key performance indicators.    
    

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

 

Apply a continuous improvement focus by proactively identifying improvements in the way data is captured and reported on in the various systems (SharePoint, Excel, Salesforce, PowerBI).
­Develop process, system and user documentation and training materials.
­Promote a high standard of visual communication which highlights critically important data/changes/trends.
­Investigate, analyse and present recommendations to key decision makers of profit maximising opportunities
­Contribute to the improvement of ICI data quality and integrity
­Analytical support to cross-functional teams
­Prepare reports, briefs and correspondence on complex Industry Capability and Inclusion matters.

To be successful in this key role, we are looking for;

 

Qualifications

   

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science data analysis, business or a related field
­Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa to be eligible to apply

 

Experience­

 

Demonstrated major project related experience
­Demonstrated analytical skills and experience working with multi-dimensional database management systems
­Intermediate Office 365 skills, particularly in relation to Microsoft Excel with the ability to proficiently create pivot tables, v-look-up and dashboards.
­Strong written and verbal skills
­Strong modelling and analysis skills including interpretation of data and translating into meaningful trends and assessments
