About the Role

John Holland is part of the CCCI Group which is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC). CCCC is the largest listed company in the international infrastructure and engineering sector.

 

We currently have an opportunity available for an Internal Audit Manager to join us, who will be reporting into the ­­­­­­CCCI Deputy General Manager - Finance Department. This role is primarily responsible for conducting the internal audit process, providing independent and objective assurance on internal controls, and identifying and implementing sustainable process improvement solutions

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Formulating internal audit strategy and annual programs
  • Conducting high quality business audits from beginning to end
  • Preparing concise and informative audit reports for senior management
  • Identifying and documenting inherent risks and controls within business processes
  • Liaising with external auditors and consultants as appropriate

To be successful in this key role, you will demonstrate;

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Engineering
  • CA/CPA accreditation
  • Internal audit experience within construction, heavy industry or engineering sectors
  • Expertise in applying risk and control concepts
  • Experience in complex stakeholder management
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Conversational or business level Mandarin (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required
