Are you up for the challenge?

 

We are looking for a Safety Manager with a proven track record across infrastructure projects to perform the role of Operational Safety Manager for a 12-month parental leave cover. Based at the JHG corporate office in Melbourne’s CBD, the position will see the successful applicant provide support to projects across the JHG national infrastructure business. 

 

We are looking for candidates with strong management and operational delivery experience. The ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels of the organisation is essential.

Responsibilities of the role include;

 

  • ­Ensure monthly reporting is accurate and complete
  • ­Visit projects regularly, ensuring all projects within an allocated portfolio are visited at least once a month
  • ­Complete audits on all projects within the allocated portfolio as per schedule
  • ­Review and implement development training plans for all Safety professionals on projects within the portfolio, working with the People function to book all necessary training and complete plans
  • ­Ensure projects complete investigations and reviews in line with JHG timeframes

 

To be successful in this role;

 

The successful applicant will be an experienced safety professional who is passionate about behaviour change. A natural leader, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as your ability to liaise and influence a range of stakeholders across the business will be crucial to your success.
