We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Completions Advisor to join us.

About the Role

Whilst you will be initially based on the North Western Program Alliance, this is a permanent career opportunity with John Holland.

 

The primary objective of the Senior Completion Advisor is to assist NWPA with achieving a timely handover of newly constructed, altered or removed assets to the ultimate asset owner/maintainer.

This role has the flexibility to support a project in Melbourne’s north or south-east.

Responsibilities of the role include;

•    Work under the instruction of the Completion Manager to oversee the required completion activities associated with the Projects, contributing to NWPA program of Works
•    Review and approve all Completion documentation prior to formal submission to Stakeholder
•    Follow up with relevant Stakeholders to resolve any issues or rejections, seeking input from Completions Coordinators as required
•    Facilitate the verification and closure of defects identified by Stakeholders
•    Ensure that ARTO’s Work Readiness compliance requirements are adhered to and implemented on time 
•    Proactively engage with each Stakeholder to facilitate approval of completion and handover documentation
•    Proactively engage with LXRP and PTV to assist with as built drawing reviews and acceptance into DMS
•    Provide onsite support during rail occupations to ensure completion deliverables are achieved
•    Identify process improvement opportunities including identification of common defect types to assist with reducing rework and delays and escalate as required
•    Coordinate with NWPA Doc Control team to book out all drawing requests associated with a Project’s scope of works
•    Coordinate with NWPA Doc Control team to return all booked out drawings and return unused DMS numbers
•    Undertake weekly status reporting to Stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have;

•    Certificate in Civil/Structural engineering or equivalent
•    More than 5 years’ Completions experience in Rail, Infrastructure or major projects
•    People Management or Leadership experience
•    Strives for a high level of client satisfaction
•    Strong relationship building skills and stakeholder management
•    Ability to travel to and work on-site in Preston or Pakenham
•    You need to be able to meet any requirements which are necessary to safely perform your role (e.g. receiving a COVID-19 vaccination pursuant to a relevant health order or by clients, or as otherwise required)
