North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of four Alliance partners – John Holland, KBR, MTM, V/Line and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals. Since 2017, the Victorian Government has entrusted North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) and our Alliance partners to remove dangerous and congested level crossings, deliver new rail stations and infrastructure, and create more community open spaces.
Our Alliance currently has three projects in delivery and two in development phase, along with the successful delivery of ten level crossing removal projects (17LX) and several premium stations.

NWPA are looking for a Senior Completions Lead to join the alliance.
About the Role
The Senior Completions Lead supports North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) in achieving timely handover of newly constructed, modified or decommissioned assets to the ultimate asset owner or maintainer.
In addition to the duties outlined below the Senior Completions Lead may be required to undertake other responsibilities as directed by management.
Responsibilities of the role include / What you will do;
• Work under the instruction of the Completion Manager to oversee all completion activities for assigned projects contributing to NWPA program of Works
• Review and approve all Completion documentation prior to formal submission to Stakeholders
• Liaise with relevant Stakeholders to resolve issues or address rejections
• Facilitate the verification and closure of defects identified by Stakeholders
• Ensure that ARTO’s Work Readiness compliance requirements are adhered to and implemented within project timeframe
• Proactively engage with each Stakeholder to facilitate approval of completion and handover documentation
• Provide onsite support during rail occupations to ensure completion deliverables are achieved
• Identify process improvement opportunities including analysis of common defect types to reduce rework and delays
• Prepare and delivery monthly reports to the Alliance Management team (AMT), provide regular updates and risk reporting to Project Management team (PMT) and proactively escalate issues to management as required
• Tracking and reporting of hand over packages to ensure completion records are closed progressively
• Work actively with Interface Managers to address non ARO stakeholder requirements (e.g. VicTrack, DTP, Melbourne Water) ensuring effective coordination and compliance
• Provide high level assurance support in relation to completions, including the development and implementation of supporting materials such as completion guidelines, training resources and systems/process documentation
• Ensure all completion artefacts / deliverables are accurately represented in the Primavera (P6) program, with critical paths identified and monitored to support timely achievement of completion milestones and overall project delivery
To be successful in this role, you will have;
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience across either Engineering, Rail, Project Management and / or Construction
• Major Projects experience demonstrated working in Completions
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams
• Achieves a high level of client satisfaction
• Delivers work within agreed time, cost and quality standards
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of client requirements
• Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple, conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of team, maintaining attention to detail while meeting deadlines
• Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate
• Guides others to create a culture of collaboration; Identifies opportunities to work with other teams to deliver outcomes
