HSEQ Administrator

We are currently looking for a safety administrator to join our rail team based in New Castle

Responsibilities of the role include:
- Act as the single point of contact for all administrative elements of the HSE team.
 - Oversee the rolling collection and processing of lead and lag HSE performance indicators for NWPA.
  Complete periodic field-based reviews of the collection and capture of lead and lag HSE performance indicators. Consult with stakeholders on system improvements to HSE data capture, processing, reporting and trending.
- Use trending and analytics tools (such as Power BI) to generate dashboards and visuals to report on HSE performance.
- Work with HSE personnel on day-to-day issues relating to data capture and processing, troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Interface with the Sustainability team for the purpose of status reporting against Alliance requirements.
- Assist with workers compensation and return to work administrative requirements.
- Work with the Human Resources (HR) team to trend induction, Rail Industry Worker (RIW) and training data.
- Assist the HSE Manager with the maintenance and upkeep of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
- Maintain the agenda and minutes for HSE team meetings.
- Complete quality checks on incident data (that has been inputted into the incident database) with respect to accuracy and timeliness.
- Run regular reports on the status of action items assigned from investigations and leading activities.
- Complete assurance checks on data filing, record keeping and archiving requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of end of month HSE reports and act as single point of contact for incident frequency rate reporting.
- Participate in site HSE walks and assist with coordinating and arranging site walks with relevant stakeholders (e.g. LXRP, MTW and JH).
- Work with other service provider stakeholders (such as Human Resources, Learning & Development, Training and Social Procurement) to improve systems interface with HSE.
- Support Verification of Competency (VOC) activities and complete periodic checks on the efficiency and accuracy of the system.
- Work in accordance with the requirements of all John Holland standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.

To be successful in this key role, you must have:
- Experience working in an administrative role within a project environment or equivalent industry
- Experienced in administration and document management practices and record management
- HSE admin Exposure
- Use of databases
