About The Role:

Our New South Wales Rail Track & Civil Team are looking for an experienced and qualified Track Ceritifier to join their team on a cssual basis.

 

This positon will be located in Dubbo and will be working across ARTC's Rail Netowrk. 

 

 

Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Implementing safe rail access procedures and track protection systems to facilitate maintenance and construction activities on ARTCs Rail Network.
  • Providing worksite safe working details to all personnel accessing the worksite during a Pre-Start brief.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  • Monitoring rail traffic to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all track protection activities and incidents.
  • Assisting with the development and review of safety policies and procedures.
  • Always ensure compliance with rail safety regulations and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain safe working environments for all personnel on-site.
  • Conduct safety checks and report hazards or safety concerns immediately.
  • Proven track or railway inspection and maintenance experience – hands-on experience with rail infrastructure is essential.

About You:

  • Experienced Protection Officer.
  • Track Certification (ARTC).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in rail safe working or track protection is required.
  • Current Driver's Licence (Mandatory)
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of network Rules and Procedures. 
  • Strong understanding of Rail Safety regulations, track protection systems and emergency procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant technology and software systems.
  • Must have Australian work authorisation.
