HR Administrator – Looking to start a career in HR?

North Western Program Alliance has successfully completed three level crossing removals and a Premium station rebuild. It is an Alliance made up of four partners and has a pipeline of future works that will go for the next five years.

 

NWPA is currently going through a period of growth which we anticipate will see additional projects awarded to the Alliance with greater value, making it a major project. NWPA’s focus is on making a difference for the community and providing the best chance for their staff to develop and grow in this fast-paced environment.

 

We are currently looking for a HR Administrator to with a “go getter attitude” who will enjoy working in a fast-paced team working on level crossing removal projects, located in the North West. As this role will be hands on, the successful candidate will be someone who is keen to get involved, have a high attention to detail, and will be willing to learn and develop into a HR professional.

 

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Human Resource function
  • Assist in all human resource matters, as directed by your manager
  • Assist any review and analysis of company policies and practices to ensure they continue to support the organisation’s needs
  • Build positive relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors, and external stakeholder groups across the business
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, which will include liaising with potential candidates and possibly external agencies, if directed
  • Support new employees as directed during their on-boarding, which may include coordinating inductions
  • Generate reports as required from various databases, which may include information on absenteeism, annual leave, training, licences, qualifications, and performance management data

     

To be successful in this key role, you must have;

  • Minimal experience will be required however a attuite that is willing to learn and develop into a HR professional will be a must!
  • Degree or higher in Business, Human Resource Management, Legal, Finance or other associated disciplines Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • A general understanding of the technology and systems associated with employee records management
