Senior Completion Advisor, NWPA

North Western Program Alliance consists of four partners, working as ‘one team’ collocated in the Alliance’s head and project offices. NWPA has a proven track record with the completion of three level crossing removal projects, a Premium station rebuild and another project currently in delivery.

 

 

To drive effective management on the upcoming program of works, the Alliance is looking to add to its high caliber workforce to safely and efficiently deliver additional work packages and contribute to the ongoing growth of a skilled and inclusive local industry.

 

As Senior Completion Advisor you will develop, recommend and implement systems and processes to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with completion requirements of the Project. Manage subcontractor and supplier completion compliance through regular auditing and surveillance. Provide technical advice to the Project team on all matters relating to quality and completions to ensure successful and timely handover of the Works


Responsibilities of the role include:
­- Oversee the required completion activities associated with the Projects, contributing to NWPA program of Works
­- Review and approve all Completion documentation prior to formal submission to Stakeholder
­- Follow up with relevant Stakeholders to resolve any issues, seeking input from Completions Coordinators as required
­- Facilitate the verification and closure of defects identified by Stakeholders
­- Ensure that ARTO’s Work Readiness compliance requirements are adhered to and implemented on time
­- Proactively engage with each Stakeholder to facilitate approval of completion and handover documentation
­- Proactively engage with LXRG and PTV to assist with as built drawing reviews and acceptance into DMS
­- Provide onsite support during rail occupations to ensure completion deliverables are achieved
­- Identify process improvement opportunities including identification of common defect types to assist with reducing rework and delays and escalate as required
­- Coordinate with NWPA Doc Control team to ensure drawing compliance with PTV DMS
­- Undertake weekly status reporting to Stakeholders
­- Identify and escalate at risk areas


To be successful in this key role, you must have:
­- 5+ years’ experience in a design, construction or project management role in the construction industry
­- Project management experience
­- Risk Management Practices (2-3 years)
­- Audit Management Practices (2-3 years)
