About the role


We are currently looking for an experienced Administration and Communication Assistant to join our team based in Parnell, Auckland. You’ll be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to the NZ Leadership team, managing the Parnell Office requirements and assisting with internal and external communications. 



Responsibilities of the role include:


•    Provide general administration support to New Zealand Operations Manager, Project Directors and Rail Services Manager
•    Point of contact for JH Parnell office
•    Manage Parnell general office administration including emails, calendar management
•    Ordering and managing office supplies
•    Maintain John Holland’s NZ Website and NZ Team Sites
•    Champion marketing initiatives on social media platforms, articles for NZ Rail and infrastructure magazines and other publications
•    Assist with conference arrangements, attendance and exhibitions when required
•    Assist with management of industry subscriptions
•    Champion NZ content for JH Rail Book annually and Newsletter quarterly
•    Responsibility to collect new CVs and convert into JH formats with consistent head shot photos
•    Enter new industry contacts into Salesforce CRM
•    Collect project photos and information for the compilation of project data sheets

To be successful in this key role, you must have:


•    A minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role and 1 years experience in internal communications or similar 
•    Basic knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
