We are currently looking for a Safety Advisor to join our project team based in Drury. Reporting to the Safety Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to establish procedures, implement, and monitor programs to provide a safe and healthy working environment.


Responsibilities of the role include;


  • Provide expert advice on safety issues in order to ensure compliance with JHG, client and regulatory requirements
  • Provide safety support to broader project team
  • Implement and maintain company safety inspections and audit schedule
  • Carry out site safety inspections and provide support to the project team to close out corrective actions
  • Provide project support in the development of safety documentation such as SWMS and work plans
  • Plan and facilitate construction hazard analysis and risk assessment activities
  • Review project safety documentation in line with legislative requirements
  • Manage non-compliance issues for timely and efficient close out


To be successful in this key role, you must have;


  • Relevant experience in a safety role, which includes relevant experience in the railway/construction industry
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and associated obligations.
  • Knowledge in developing and/or implementing Safety Management Systems or Safety Management Tools
  • Sound organizational and administrative ability.
