About the Project
John Holland has been selected by the NSW Government to deliver Enabling Works for Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2, including a public and active transport bridge linking Wentworth Point and Melrose Park across the Parramatta River.
The new bridge will connect communities on the north and south of the river, and will feature an innovative, long-span cast in situ balanced cantilever design. The design means the bridge will only have two piers in the river, minimising disruption to boats and other waterway users and protecting the sensitive marine environment.
The enabling works cover 1.3km, including the bridge and approaches on either side of the river.
This is the first critical stage of works for the light rail extension which, when complete, will connect communities on the Olympic Peninsula with Greater Parramatta.
We're currently looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Commercial team on this exciting project!
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Review draft scopes of works and compile tender packages.
 - Conduct initial discussions/negotiations with subcontractors to clarify subcontract terms and conditions.

 - Check compliance and prepare reporting on subcontract performance.
 - Ensure accurate valuation and assessment of progress claims.
 - Operate and maintain commercial and subcontract systems.
 - Perform all duties in accordance with JHG policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures
