What is needed?
John Holland’s Rail & Transport division is currently constructing some of Australia’s most complex Rail projects along with pursuing several others. 
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals working in the Environmental and Sustainability field. 

 

About You
This role will see you holding a degree qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or a related field with previous experience in the Environmental or Sustainability field within the construction or heavy industry.

 

Other requirements:

  • Experience in the development and implementation of Environmental and Sustainability Management Systems
  • Understanding of incident investigations and reporting
  • Experience in developing and managing environment and sustainability data and reporting.
  • Familiarity with sustainability rating tools
  • Skill in quantitative and qualitative environmental risk assessment and development of risk controls.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of environmental and sustainability principles, frameworks and standards, such as ISO 14001, ISO 26000 and GRI.
  • Knowledge of environmental statutes and legislation
  • Training and facilitation experience in environmental activities
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy and quality, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
