About the Role
The Rail team are seeking an experienced Environment Advisor to provide support to the Rail Services NSW/ACT Project Team and coordinate the implementation of project environment programs to ensure adherence with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and contractual obligations.


Key Responsibilities include:
•Support the maintenance of comprehensive environmental records
-Support the management of environmental consultants and undertake field monitoring to meet project/ client compliance requirements
•Identify and initiate localised environment improvement initiatives
•Ensure management if informed of any relevant changes to legal, regulatory and project environmental requirements
•Undertake site audits and inspections to meet monitoring requirements identify nonconformance and opportunities for improvements
•Report environmental performance, compliance and defects
•Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company environmental requirements


What You’ll Need to Succeed:
•Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines
•Lead Auditor Qualification
•High level investigation skills including report writing
•A minimum of 5 years Construction Environment Management experience in a rail environment preferred but not essential
•TAE40116 Cert IV Training and Assessment (preferred but not essential)
•Knowledge of compliance and reporting procedures and processes
