About the Role
 

Develop, recommend and implement quality assurance programme's to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements across the NSW/ACT Building projects. This position would suit a current Foreman/Supervisor looking to move into the quality space driving quality compliance across all NSW/ACT projects or someone who has worked in a similar role on large scale projects. 
 

Responsibilities of the role include;
 

  • ­Ensure that the project's conforms with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements
  • ­Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery
  • ­Provide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business improvement
  • ­Ensure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality
  • ­Provide technical quality expertise 
  • ­Ensure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to quality­
  • ­Provide leadership and mentoring to quality staff ­ 
  • Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes and demonstrate leadership in the communication of requirements ­
     

What we are looking for;

 

  • Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
  • Experience in a quality management role ­ 
  • Quality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industries
  • Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems
