About the Project
Join our dedicated team based on site for the exciting redevelopment of Penrith Stadium, a project close to the hearts of the local community and Penrith rugby fans.
This landmark initiative involves demolishing of the existing stadium and constructing a new state-of-the-art facility.

About the Role
As Safety Advisor you will be responsible to monitor and support the safety function under general supervision and to provide support and coordination of safety practices, systems, and procedures on the project.
- Provide support, coordination and advice of Health Safety practices, systems and procedures within a defined workplace.
- Administer education and compliance programs for employees, contractors and visitors within a defined workplace.
- Initiate and coordinate accredited training programs for occupational health and safety committee members and first aid officers
- Conduct Health And Safety audits and inspections
- Identify hazards and event prevention programs
- Provide direction and support to the Project Leadership Team to develop and implement adequate Health And Safety training within a defined workplaces
- Implement occupational health and safety procedures based on approved company policies in the areas of health, safety and fire prevention
- Coordinate the investigation of causes on site and maintain documentation in accordance with Health and Safety procedures
- To provide Health and Safety specialist advice and technical input to delivery, ensuring that legal and contractual obligations / risks are identified and communicated appropriately
- Maintain records of all Health and Safety requirements at the work place, in accordance with legislative company requirements and provide statistical summaries of these records
- Conduct return to work coordinator activities
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures
What we are looking for
- Diploma Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- Experience working as a Safety Advisor on $50m + Commercial/Industrial building projects
- Experience working for Tier 1 contractors on Building projects
- Ability to conduct and interpret audits and reviews
