About the Role

Provide leadership, support and guidance in all aspects of building services management to the Regional Building Team to achieve business plan objectives, regional and project deliverables.

What you will do:


  • Build and maintain relationships with key consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders. 
  • Develop strategies which support and enhance the business plans of the Region 
  • Liaise with prospective clients, suppliers and subcontractors to identify potential opportunities and partnerships 
  • Lead commercial discussions, agreement and management with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers. Including the development of scope of works. 
  • Develop and implement building services design, delivery, and commissioning processes to be implemented on prospective and current projects 
  • Develop and Implement standardised building services scopes including temporary works 
  • Develop services design processes on prospective and current projects to enhance design and delivery strategies 
  • Monitor progress and identify risks and opportunities of building services works on existing projects, including through design, procurement, delivery, and commissioning 
  • People management: Monitor building services staff to ensure the project has the capability to achieve targets, supervise workforce, including subcontractors, and foster a high-performing team within a positive employee relations environment. Lead growth and development plans for the services cohort within the region
  • Lead the services bid and tender strategies, bid requirements and assessment of services consultants and subcontractors. 

What we are looking for:


  • Specialist trade and/or Associate design qualification 
  • Experience delivering technology and building services on major projects ($500M+) 
  • 15 years’ experience in engineering and technical management roles 
  • 5 years in senior building services role for Tier 1 or National contractor 
  • Multi-disciplined project experience in tender, design and construction phases of projects in Australia and internationally 
  • Expert in statutory compliance requirements in regions and territories where we operate 
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience managing commercial relationships, budgets, cost control 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with a focus on relationship building, influencing, communication and negotiation skills
