That’s our difference. Deep experience and capability with a genuine care about creating better lives for people along the way.
Be part of the team that’s up for the challenge of transforming lives for good.
Are you up for the challenge?
We are currently seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Graphic Designer / eLearning Developer to join our Training Academy in the role of Training Development Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping how we deliver engaging and visually impactful learning experiences across eLearning and face-to-face training programs.
This is more than a typical instructional design role. We are seeking someone with top-tier graphic design expertise and a knack for turning complex information into visually engaging and easy-to-understand learning materials. You’ll have the opportunity to create innovative training solutions that align with John Holland’s commitment to excellence in workforce capability and safety.
This role can be based out of Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney.
To help us assess the creative expertise required for this role, we ask that candidates include a link to examples of their graphic design work, ideally showcasing eLearning content, as part of their application. Alternatively we would request the candidate be prepared to show any online content at interview stage.
About the Role

- Develop interactive eLearning modules using Articulate Rise 360, with a focus on usability and learner engagement.
- Create visually compelling content for face-to-face training sessions, using MS PowerPoint that captivates and educates.
- Script, storyboard, and oversee the creation of videos or animations.
- Ensure all learning solutions adhere to organisational goals, accessibility requirements, and industry standards.
- Regularly evaluate training effectiveness and refine materials to optimise learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of content.
About You
