John Holland is proud to be partnering with Downer Group and the Queensland Government to support a new era of train manufacturing through the state-shaping Queensland Train Manufacturing Program.

We are currently accepting applications from 3rd or 4th year students who are currently studying Civil Engineering or Construction Management to join the team in Torbanlea, QLD as our Undergraduate.

We are ready to hit the ground running with this position set to start ASAP and to ensure your success we offer the following:

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Work with key project staff to understand project requirements and determine scope of work
  • Providing engineering advice and performing routine engineering calculations and activities within the scope of your expertise and capability
  • Assisting Engineers, Senior Engineers and other key project staff with engineering and design management activities
  • Gathering and correlating data to provide routine reporting
