The Project
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.
The Role
This role is responsible for setting the Aboriginal and Social Inclusion Engagement strategy and provide support to the project to achievement the T2D KRA/TIPP commitments. As part of this it leads the engagement with Aboriginal organisations and is responsible for the implementation of the Aboriginal engagement strategy and rollout of all required programs.
Role and Responsbilities

Develop and implement the Aboriginal Participation Plan (APP) to meet project and TIPP targets.

Build and maintain relationships with Aboriginal organisations, suppliers, and the community.

Coordinate and deliver Aboriginal cultural awareness training and lead cultural events.

Support Aboriginal employment, apprenticeships, traineeships, and social inclusion initiatives.

Provide monthly KPI reporting and assist subcontractors with meeting Aboriginal participation requirements.

Act as the main point of contact for Aboriginal employees and create networking opportunities on the project.
About You

Tertiary qualification, certificate, or relevant experience in a similar role

Experience liaising with Aboriginal organisations and social procurement groups

Proven ability to draft, implement, and deliver programs supporting Aboriginal participation

Strong relationship-building and communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups

Passionate about Aboriginal engagement, diversity, and social inclusion

Organised, proactive, and committed to achieving positive social outcomes
