The Project:

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.

 

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

 

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031.  The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.

The Role:

The Community Information Centre Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the effective functioning of the T2D Project Community Information Centre.

 

 This hands-on role involves planning and delivering community programs and activities, supporting community benefit initiatives, and coordinating engagement strategies that align with the broader objectives of the T2D Project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment at the T2D Community Information Centre and serve as the primary contact for all enquiries related to the centre
  • Oversee day-to-day centre operations, including supply management, facility upkeep, and coordination with vendors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and groups to support engagement and collaboration
  • Design, implement, and manage a program of onsite workshops, activations, events and activities, and coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup, equipment, and catering arrangements
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on centre activities and programs usage metrics, and stakeholder feedback to inform continuous improvement
  • Supervise T2D mobile information van coordinators, including scheduling and resource allocation
  • Manage the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to enquiries
