The Project
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
The role
We are currently establishing our Precast production teams in preparation for tunnelling to commence in early 2026, and we are seeking expressions of interests from experienced concrete pump operators to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain concrete pump truck and equipment safely and efficiently within a plant environment.
- Coordinate with production and batch plant teams to ensure timely delivery and placement of concrete in forms.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on pump equipment.
- Set up and break down pump systems in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Monitor concrete flow and communicate any inconsistencies to the quality control or batching team.
- Clean equipment after use and ensure proper storage and upkeep.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience operating a concrete pump, preferably in a precast or construction environment.
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong understanding of concrete pump operations and maintenance.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, safety instructions, and form layouts.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be physically fit
