The Project

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

 

The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Lead to join a team of communications professionals on the T2D Alliance.

 

The primary purpose of the role is to provide communications advice to client groups, deliver campaigns, manage channels of communication and events, and produce a range of communications (including written and digital) to engage employees and achieve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal communication channels (incl. fortnightly e-newsletter and intranet) and create content to engage employees in delivering business objectives and transformational change
  • Coordinate and execute delivery of the T2D Alliance internal communications strategy through various internal channels
  • Prepare engaging, strategically aligned content for internal audiences delivered via a range of vehicles such as presentations, social and digital media, campaigns, stories, newsletters, forums and events
  • Project manage the delivery of internal events and communication campaigns that build staff engagement
  • Provide communication support to significant incidents which affect employee wellbeing, customer service and/or organisational reputation
  • Write and produce all staff emails for the senior leadership team, including managing and uploading stories to the Alliance intranet
  • Provide content and stories to all parent companies

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within the infrastructure sector
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry including the importance of communicating across a number of disciplines
  • Ability to develop and implement effective internal communication strategies and plans
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation, including managing communication with an on-site workforce
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
