The Project
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.
The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced M&E Planning Manager to lead the planning, programming, and performance monitoring of all Mechanical & Electrical systems across a major infrastructure program. This role is critical in ensuring that complex M&E components are delivered efficiently, safely, and in alignment with overall project objectives—on time and within budget.
You’ll manage the M&E planning function across the project lifecycle, from design coordination and procurement scheduling through to construction integration, commissioning, and handover.
Responsibilities

Lead the M&E planning function, developing detailed and integrated programs for all mechanical, electrical, fire, communications, and building services works.

Coordinate with M&E designers, consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams to sequence and align work programs.

Ensure all planning activities adhere to Alliance procedures and support high standards in time, cost, quality, and safety.

Implement and maintain accurate planning and reporting tools, with a focus on earned value, schedule risk, and time-chainage analysis.

Drive forward-looking planning reviews to identify issues early and guide corrective actions.

Produce reliable forecasts and performance insights for M&E systems to support operational decision-making.

Integrate M&E schedules with wider construction and civil works programs to support seamless project delivery.
About You

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.

12+ years’ experience in construction planning, with a strong focus on M&E works.

Proven ability to lead planning teams on complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.

Advanced skills in Primavera P6 and other planning and project controls software.

Strong understanding of M&E construction methodologies, sequencing, and commissioning processes.

Confident communicator, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working within alliance or major project delivery frameworks is desirable.

Skilled in risk-based planning, earned value management, and 4D/BIM scheduling tools.
