The Project
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.
About the role:
The Methods & Survey Modeler role will bridge the gap between design and construction by producing functional survey setout models that interface with current and future conditions.
The role will suit a self-driven candidate with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of design intent, looking to proactively improve how design data is delivered to site teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D models for methods and temporary works to support survey setout
- Collaborate closely with Construction, Methods, and Temporary Works teams across the project to interpret and implement design requirements into survey setout models
- Review and interrogate design inputs to proactively identify potential interface issues
- Manage and organise survey and modeling data within 12d and Synergy systems, ensuring consistency, clarity and accessibility
- Engage with the design team to understand permanent design outputs and recommend improvements/ changes/ additions needed for survey and construction to produce a functional setout model
About you
- Experience in 3D modeling and survey setout within major infrastructure or construction projects
- Proficient in 12d Model software, with strong data management skills
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team environment and communicating across technical and construction disciplines
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to foresee and mitigate construction and design challenges early
